A SECONDARY SCHOOL FOR SEND LEARNERS AGED 11-19
Three students from Beatrice Tate School took part in the Boccia East Region Open Games, held at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre and run by London Youth Games. They teamed up with London Enterprise Academy to represent Tower Hamlets, competing against schools from 12 boroughs across the region.
It was a fantastic day of sport and teamwork. The team finished 3rd in their group and likely placed 6th overall. Two of the matches were extremely close—just a few points away from a chance to compete for bronze. Throughout the day, the students supported each other brilliantly and clearly enjoyed the experience. It was a great opportunity to take part in a competitive event while developing their social and competitive skills. Well done to all involved!
