On Thursday January 16th, students from T6 and T11 classes had the exciting opportunity to participate in a special storytelling session with Gwyneth McCormack, a Specialist Vision Impairment Teacher and the creator of Marvin’s Story Time Show. Known for her dynamic and engaging sessions designed for young people with complex needs, Gwyneth brought her expertise and enthusiasm to Beatrice Tate School, and we were thrilled to have her with us.

Gwyneth, affectionately known as “Gwynnie-Gwyn-Gwyn,” captivated the students with a series of fun, interactive multisensory activities, lively songs, and an engaging story featuring Marvin and his vibrant cast of characters. Her session was thoughtfully designed to encourage visual attention, anticipation, excitement, and active participation.

It was truly a memorable experience for both the students and staff, as everyone got involved and shared in the joy of storytelling. We look forward to more sessions like this in the future!
