Our Jack Petchey Achievement Award Winners 2016 – 2017

Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme
Almost 2,000 schools, colleges and youth organisations throughout London and Essex run the scheme.
The scheme is a reward and recognition initiative which enables schools and youth organisations to celebrate the achievements of their young people.


When a winner is selected they are publicly congratulated for their achievement and receive:

  • A framed certificate and badge
  • Membership of the JPF Achievers community
  • ¬£250! to be spent on a something of their choice that will benefit their school (for example a piece of equipment or a day out for their class or key stage)
  • Award winners are further recognised by attending an annual Jack Petchey Award event¬†where they are congratulated on stage in front of friends and family.

Our school is on Silver level of the JP Scheme and therefore we are able to give out six awards each year.
We award two JP awards each term. Each tutor group nominates a pupil and the headteacher then chooses the winner.
The winners are then revealed at a special Jack Petchey Award Assembly.
